So, the long awaited new single, “Night Runner”, was released last week. Did you know that it was produced by Justin Timberlake and Timbaland? You didn’t know? Well, now you do! I kinda don’t like it. I’m hoping it’ll grow on me after a few more listens. Go here to stream it. Let me know what YOU think.

Kinda surprised, but I like it-after a few listens it’s growing on me. The ending part with Nick’s synth is damn good. But it’s hard to tell with such a muffled stream.
I don’t think I’m alone in thinking that 81-85 was when their best stuff came out. Quite liked Astronaut though and this song is going to be a grower I think…
Well, I’ve enjoyed the various incarnations of the band (especially the last album) and while this sounds nothing like the DD most of us know, it sounds 100% modern and that could be just what the band needs to stay current.
Paul, I loved Astronaut. I saw them on that tour and they were great! I know this is their way of keeping their sound fresh and attracting a new generation of fans, but it’s just going to take some getting used to I think. I’m trying to keep an open mind. š
